Dr. Lisa J. Gleason, Director of Curriculum & Instruction
Dr. Gleason holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Peter's University and a master's degree in School Leadership and Administration from Georgian Court University.  Prior to joining the central administration of Wall Township Public School District, Dr. Gleason was a principal and director of curriculum and enjoyed a teaching career that spanned both elementary and middle school English Language Arts.  She is currently the President of the Monmouth County Curriculum Consortium and an adjunct professor for Georgian Court University's School Administration and Leadership graduate program.

Cathleen Brenner,  Elementary Supervisor
Mrs. Cathleen Brenner received her Bachelor’s Degree in History from Rutgers University,  Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University and a New Jersey Supervisor certificate from Georgian Court University. Mrs. Brenner has been a member of the Wall Township School District since September 2001. She taught fifth grade at Central Elementary School and later became the district coordinator for the Gifted and Talented program for grades K-5.  After teaching for 12 years, Mrs. Brenner is now the Elementary Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for Central and Allenwood Schools.

Matt Kukoda, Supervisor Grades 6-8
Mr. Kukoda began his teaching career as a Middle School and High School Social Studies, Computer Technology, and Basic Skills teacher in the New Jersey Public Schools after receiving his bachelor’s degree in Education, History and Political Science from Monmouth University. In 2012, he received recognition as school Teacher of the Year, and he was also named an outstanding teacher through the county teacher recognition program. Mr. Kukoda holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University. Upon matriculating to the Wall Township Public School District in 2014, Mr. Kukoda held the positions of as a Social Studies teacher at Wall High School, Social Studies & NNDCC Department Chair, Advisor to the Athletic Leadership Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Fishing Club, and Yearbook Club, as well as Head Boys' Basketball, Head Boys' Cross Country, and Assistant Football Coach. After 12 years as a teacher, Mr. Kukoda is now the Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction at Wall Intermediate School.

Laura Kurmin, 9- 12 STEM Supervisor
Mrs. Laura Kurmin graduated from DeSales University with a dual major in Mathematics and Accounting.  She started her career as an accountant and quickly learned she had missed her calling in education. Soon after, she completed her Masters in Teaching from Montclair State University and began her high school teaching career in mathematics. She earned her Supervisor Certificate through Rutgers University and her Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of Scranton. She joined the Wall High School Math Department in 2002. After 17 years of teaching, Laura is now the 9 – 12 STEM Supervisor for the Wall Township Public School District.

​​​​​​​Dr. Rachel Lella, Elementary and K-12 ESL Supervisor
Dr. Lella has been working in the field of education since 2004. She earned her doctoral degree in teacher leadership from Rutgers University, where she was awarded the Edward Fry Fellowship in recognition of her research in literacy instruction. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication and American studies from Rider University, a master's degree in teaching from Monmouth University, a master's degree in educational leadership from Kean University, and a master's degree in language education from Rutgers University. Dr. Lella serves on the board of the New Jersey Literacy Association and presents professional development at local, state, and national conferences in the areas of literacy, leadership, and English as a Second Language. She is currently the Elementary Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for Old Mill and West Belmar as well as the Supervisor of the K-12 English as a Second Language program.

Dr. Tracy Skinner, 9 – 12 Humanities Supervisor
Dr. Tracy Skinner attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, where she completed her Ph.D. and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Dr. Skinner began her teaching career in Allentown, PA before accepting a teaching position in Kapolei, HI. Before joining Wall Township Public Schools in 2014, Tracy spent eight years teaching at Great Bridge High School in Virginia serving as 504 Chair, Leadership Council Coordinator, and the NHS Supervisor. In addition, she worked with teacher candidates as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College.

Dr. Carly York, K-12 Visual & Performing Arts Supervisor
Dr. Carly York earned her doctorate degree in Education Leadership, Management, & Policy from Seton Hall University, where she also obtained her NJ State Supervisor’s Certificate. Dr. York previously earned a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance & Pedagogy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds a second Master’s Degree in Liturgical Music from the Catholic University in Washington, DC, where she focused on choral conducting and vocal music.  Dr. York was privileged to teach in various K-12 vocal and instrumental music positions around the world, including: Yew Chung Beijing International School in China; the Zurich International School in Switzerland; and the United Nations International School in New York City. She also served as an adjunct faculty member of Brookdale Community College and Georgian Court University. As a performing artist, Dr. York was honored to sing as a professional member of the National Chorale, where she regularly performed in Lincoln Center for five years. Dr. York is thrilled to lead the Visual & Performing Arts Departments throughout Wall Township Schools.
