Educator Evaluation System
Beginning in 2013, the New Jersey Department of Education implemented a statewide teacher evaluation system which uses multiple measures to assess teacher effectiveness. This initiative grew out of the belief that high quality educators are the most important in-school factor affecting student achievement.

Using the Charlotte Danielson 2007 Framework for Teaching, a state approved teacher evaluation model, Wall Township Public Schools will continually identify our educational strengths and areas needing attention. This will enable us to promote research-based teaching practices already present in the district, pursue innovative, effective methodology and professional growth, and sustain high student achievement and growth.

Principals, Assistant Principals, Supervisors, and other professionals are also evaluated annually as per New Jersey Department of Education requirements.
