Daily Update To Families 4/2
Dear Families: As we near the end of Week Three of virtual learning and prepare for our spring recess, which begins on Monday, April 6th, I know that many families are concerned and uncertain about what this time away from school will mean. While this break may look very different than ones in the past, our hope is that our students and families will have some time to pause and recharge from the challenges of shifting to virtual instruction and juggling myriad responsibilities.
Dear Families: I am asking all parents to please take a few minutes to complete the attached survey. This survey solicits input from our school community on our virtual instructional plan and will help the district make any necessary changes to enhance students’ learning experiences in a realistic manner.
Dear Families: I’m keeping tonight’s message brief since I want to focus on one topic...FLEXIBILITY. We are keenly aware of the stress and tension that home instruction in the virtual environment has created for many families. Administrators are working closely with teachers to adjust the quantity and pacing of instructional lessons to ensure that they are manageable for students and for parents who are supporting their children.
